Grief & Bereavement Counselling:
Monday, December 1st, 2008
Death no matter how it comes whether expected or completely out of the blue is an outrage. It can shake us to our very core and makes us question the meaning of life itself. It can also stir up a range of strong and overwhelming emotions. Yet death is inextricably a part of life - one guarantee we have in all of us. Death does change everything and we cannot fix it or prevent it but we can learn to communicate with those who find themselves in that place where life changes because of death.
Human beings regardless of our cultural or religious backgrounds are united by the common bond the need to communicate and to know they are not alone. Many grieving individuals do not talk about how they feel and there are too many things left unsaid thoughts not shared. The bereaved have a unspoken pressure to conform and not be a burden to society.
Grief & Bereavement Counselling can support the bereaved and help them through their journey towards the future. for more information give COH a call on 01903 856 801
