Monday Review

Monday, October 27th, 2008

This Monday COH Therapists visited De Vere’s beautiful New Place. It is located near Wickham between Southampton and Portsmouth. Farham near Southampton, it has a wonderful mix of old world charm and modern facilities all set in 32 acres of pristine countryside and woodland.

We visited to provide treatments for the Diabetes Research and Wellness Foundation for their Diabetes Wellness Weekend. During the morning we worked on over 35 attendees, and brought a feeling of wellbeing to all.

A great morning was had by all

Saturday Night with a Bang

Saturday, October 25th, 2008

We had planned to stay in Saturday and have a quiet evening  but a phone call from Anne around 5pm  prompted a quick change of plan, that meant it was far from quiet.

Littlehampton Bonfire Parade was a very mild evening considering it was late October. At first we watched all the floats pass, then we made our way the the grassed area near the beach for the bonfire to be ignited and then the fireworks began.

In the end it was a great night out enjoyed by all.

Its the Weekend

Sunday, October 19th, 2008

Hi All

What a great weekend, nice weather again

I managed to do some work on the son and daughters classic Minis. replaced the front knuckles on the suspension, now running as smooth as a new cars no squeaks or rattles. What amazes me is working on the car and working at COH  have the same effect. A bit of TLC in the form of regular maintenance goes a long way.

So why not treat yourself and book in for a free taster?

One young lady has been suffering with whiplash and Hydrotherm proved to be the answer. another lady  just enjoyed a gentle relaxing massage  to set her up for the weekend ahead.

FSB Evening proved to be Stressfree….

Wednesday, October 15th, 2008

Tonight in the comfort Inn near Arundel, COH took part in a Federation of Small Business (FSB) event to reduce Stress in the Workplace. Local businesses were invited to come and find out how they can reduce stress and sickness within the workplace.

COH gave advice on techniques that can be used to reduce stress related problems, we were also able to provide on site massage to show how massage can help with reducing muscle tension and be an aid to relaxation.

Not only was it great to be able to help people feel better it was nice to meet new friends while watching  people relax and enjoy themselves in front of our eyes

Nice to have a break but nice to be back. If you didn’t already know the troublemaker’s refer to our son & daughter Matthew and Louise thanks to them both for covering the centre.
